« on: July 17, 2010, 04:13:48 PM »

Thanks to our dear and persistent friend, Ice, I'm BACK once again!!!!!
When he found me on FaceBook and told me that a lot of you are still hanging out here from time to time, it didn't take too much to twist my arm to come and check in.
I've missed you all!

My health is OUTSTANDING for a change, which means my mental state is in a wonderful place!
Thus far it has been a very hectic but amazing summer.
Life feels really really really good!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to catching up on all the news and re-connecting here!

Great to see you back!

Without The Emu, there'd be no morality. If there was no morality, there'd be nothing wrong with rape, stealing, or refusing to kill people for following a different religion. This would be terrible indeed. Do you really wish to live such a horrible, amoral life by denying The Emu's existence?

Of course your health has improved. We've all been praying for you. :)

Welcome back to the persistently moribund forum. You have always been the heart & soul of the FreeFellows Fraternity.

I didn't know you were ailing (beyond what we learned about your stones--be they never so "rolling").  Anyway, glad you're well.

Thanks for saying so, Tim.

I've been getting the auto-generated messages that a "new member has joined" evry so often so I look in when that happens. The screwy thing about this forum software is that I've found that if you're not a member and find the forum you can see the "latest posts" listing like we used to have. When I sign in, I don't know why but that function goes away. Perhaps it does for new mebers as well. To me this function is the most cohesive agent to start people connecting. Otherwise it just looks like  on has to go through all of the old stuff and try to pick something to post to upon which time it is not added to that function taht disappears when one signs up. I've contacted Jeannie and Rick about it to see if it's just me of have they noticed this. I got no answer. I tried to comb through every function of this software as an adm. and haven't found anything on it or anyway to perhaps change it so that tis social cohesion functions remains. This is why I think this forum has becomesomewhat of a dead end, there's no way to easily notice the latest post and therefore it looks like there are no posts. There have been posts but just by the same few characters that were active at the time we had to go to this software. Are you seeing the same syndrome or when you are signed in can you see that latest post function? I believe that's kind or essential to draw people into a social dynamism--one which seems to have gone from our forum. PM me so we don't hijack thisprodical daughter returns for a sip of expresso thread where said daughter seems to mean to want to come back but in my view the software seems to be lacking functionality to make this place socially dynamic. I don't blame anyone for not sticking around if what is I see as true is in fact true. Please get back to me non. Thanks. Jim. Jeannie too if she sees this and can help clear up my confusion as to whether there is a system proglem of if just I lose this important social aggitant. Hi Jeannie in any case.
